John Blaxland (1799 – 26 January 1884) was an English-born Australian politician.
He was born in Kent to Gregory Blaxland, an explorer who would take a leading role in the first successful crossing of the Blue Mountains. He came to New South Wales at the age of five, and became a merchant and businessman. On 23 December 1845 he married Ellen Falkner, with whom he had nine children.
